Women’s Bootcamp: Connecting Goals, Transforming Realities
The third edition of the Women’s Bootcamp took place on March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day. This event aligns with the fifth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): to promote gender equality and empower women and girls.
Throughout the day, 160 women from various corporate subsidiaries experienced a meaningful and enriching event. Distinguished leaders such as Minister of Labor, Ivonne Núñez, and María Paz Jervis, President of the National Federation of Chambers of Industries, shared their insights and experiences on gender equity and leadership.
Participants also enjoyed an inspiring musical performance by renowned artist Fausto Miño, who brought energy and joy to the occasion, which concluded with a variety of fun and heartwarming activities.
But the journey doesn’t end here: the company has already outlined a roadmap for 2025 with concrete actions that reinforce its “Violet Purpose.” Highlights include:
• Gender equity talks, paired with coaching and professional development sessions.
• Campaigns on family planning and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), with access to specialized medical care.
With this third edition of the Bootcamp, held in collaboration with local brands from El Oro, Corporación Palmar reaffirms its commitment to talent development by creating spaces for connection, growth, and women’s empowerment. .
