Sports
We encourage an active and healthy lifestyle in our community through Orense Sporting Club, integrating different sports disciplines such as swimming, soccer, basketball, and tennis.
From the beginning, Orense has had an important sports and academic scholarship program for low income children, teenagers, and high performance athletes.
Currently the club has approximately 500 children and teenagers that are part of this family.
Employee Health and Safety
The Health and Safety department is always protecting the wellbeing of our staff members.
Throughout the COVID - 19 pandemic the following actions were taken:
- Installed of portable sinks, gel and alcohol dispensaries across strategic locations
- Gave K95 masks to all staff members.
- Integrated medical attention to positive cases.
- Gave rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer to all staff members.
- Installed acrylic divisions in the dining halls.
- Trained the staff members about bio security procedures.
- Implemented rapid test campaigns.
Community and Infrastructure Development
Housing in Agricultural Division
We contribute to the safety and quality of life of approximately 1200 staff members offering them free housing with basic services, food, medical attention, green areas, markets with daily use products.
Palmar Center
As an acknowledgement to the El Guabo county, our founder, Euclides Palacios, created Palmar Center Mall & Hotel. A high end establishment which offers lodging, event halls, and a complete shopping center for the citizens.
Divino Niño Jesús Chapel
The chapel located in El Guabo was built to give the citizens a place of devotion. This was an initiative of Ms. Jenny Márquez, our founder’s wife.
