On February 26, we welcomed one of our commercial partners, Global Fresh Trading, to our facilities. This visit reflects the mutual trust and commitment we have built over the years. Our guests toured our operations and learned about the roles of our different subsidiaries. Each of them plays a key part in the value chain, providing specialized goods and services that ensure efficiency throughout the production and export process. These encounters are essential to strengthening our international business relationships. They also offer valuable opportunities to share experiences and, more importantly, reaffirm our commitment to transparency and the highest quality standards.
Orense Sporting Club made history by qualifying for the 2025 Copa Sudamericana — a milestone for football in El Oro Province. Since its promotion to Serie A in 2019, the team has grown through hard work and determination, achieving this major milestone in Ecuadorian professional football. Although their time in the tournament was brief, the experience was invaluable and reinforced the club’s commitment to its development and its fan base. About the 2025 Kit On January 24, Orense SC officially unveiled its 2025 kit, strengthening its identity and bond with supporters. The club also recently launched its Alternate Jersey II, accompanied by a campaign against racism in sports. Each design is the creation of José Miguel Palacios, a third-generation member of the Palacios family, who infuses each detail with pride and the roots that define Orense SC.
The third edition of the Women’s Bootcamp took place on March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day. This event aligns with the fifth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): to promote gender equality and empower women and girls. Throughout the day, 160 women from various corporate subsidiaries experienced a meaningful and enriching event. Distinguished leaders such as Minister of Labor, Ivonne Núñez, and María Paz Jervis, President of the National Federation of Chambers of Industries, shared their insights and experiences on gender equity and leadership. Participants also enjoyed an inspiring musical performance by renowned artist Fausto Miño, who brought energy and joy to the occasion, which concluded with a variety of fun and heartwarming activities. But the journey doesn’t end here: the company has already outlined a roadmap for 2025 with concrete actions that reinforce its “Violet Purpose.” Highlights include: • Gender equity talks, paired with coaching and professional development sessions. • Campaigns on family planning and prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), with access to specialized medical care. With this third edition of the Bootcamp, held in collaboration with local brands from El Oro, Corporación Palmar reaffirms its commitment to talent development by creating spaces for connection, growth, and women’s empowerment. .
On March 23, Incarpalm celebrated its 19th anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to quality, growth, and excellence in the manufacturing of corrugated cardboard boxes. The celebration included a heartfelt thanksgiving mass, bringing together executives and employees to recognize the hard work and dedication that have allowed the company to grow within the industry. As part of the celebration, interactive activities strengthened the sense of teamwork and commitment. Special awards were also presented to team members who have completed 5, 10, and 15 years at the company, honoring their contributions to Incarpalm’s growth. This year also brings an additional source of pride: the achievement of the FSSC 22000 certification, an international recognition that ensures the highest safety standards in packaging production for the food industry. This milestone reinforces Incarpalm’s commitment to continuous improvement and customer trust.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, Incarpalm joined the “Ruta de la Empleabilidad” (Employability Route), an initiative that promotes job opportunities for young people, fostering inclusion and productive development.
During an event held at its facilities, a partnership agreement was signed with the Ministry of Labor to establish joint actions aimed at encouraging the hiring of youth between the ages of 18 and 29. At the event, Minister Ivonne Núñez Figueroa highlighted Incarpalm’s role in job creation and its impact in El Oro Province, where the company currently employs over 100 young individuals.

Exportadora Palmar continues to strengthen its leadership in Ecuador’s banana export sector. In 2024, with 18.44 million boxes exported, we reached 5.06% of the country’s total shipments, ranking fourth nationwide.

From February 5 to 7, we took part in Fruit Logistica Berlin, the world’s leading trade fair for the fresh produce industry. This event brought together 38 Ecuadorian companies, reaffirming our commitment to quality and sustainable fruit and vegetable production.
During the fair, we strengthened strategic alliances with our clients and showcased the quality of Ecuadorian bananas on the international stage.
